To Navigate Using the Buttons
The buttons are Back, Forward, Home, Reload, Stop Loading, and HTML Errors.
When colored, you can click on the buttons; when dimmed, they are unavailable.
Back
Return to the previous page.
Use Back to return to the previous page after:
- Following a link
- When an error page is displayed
- After viewing the HTML source for a page
- After sending mail using HotJava (click Back twice).
Forward
Forward is available only after you have followed a link, viewed an error page,
or viewed HTML source, and clicked Back.
Use Forward after using Back to display the
previous page.
Home
Return to the browser's "home"
page.
HotJava's default home page is doc:/lib/hotjava/whats-hot.html.
Reload
Reload a page after editing its source file or
if you encounter an error page that advises you to reload.
Stop Loading
Stop loading a URL. Note that if HotJava
has already finished loading an applet, Stop Loading does not
stop the applet from
running. Click Back to return to the previous page.
